Larry "Grandpa" Bradshaw taking it easy outside the company hootch at Tay Ninh.  Larry was seriously wounded on October 6, 1969.

Another shot of Grandpa.  The location isn't known, but it appears it was taken at some sort of processing point.  Note the large 101st Airborne patch in the background, and the tail of a C-130 transport airplane.

1SG William Allen, with Nguyen Van Duc, our Kit Carson Scout.  Kit Carsons were former NVA or Viet Cong solders who had "Chieu Hoi" to our side.  Some, like Duc, were employed by US forces to help us detect the presence of enemy troops. Duc's way of doing this was to yell "Beaucoup NVA!"

We have no way of knowing what happened to Duc, but it may be assumed he was either executed, or imprisoned for a long time once the conquering Communists discovered he had fought with American forces.
