I am looking for anybody that might have met my father in Vietnam. Federico G Castillo, passed away in 1968 in his hometown of Fabesn Tx. I just want to learn about his time in Vietnam. I have not information on his company, I just know that he was Airborne, I remember the wings with a parachute in the middle also a rifle with leave around. I was told that he left the military for medical reasons and he received two purple heart medals. |

I am looking for someone who may remember serving with my uncle in Vietnam. This is what I know. He was a crew chief on ch-47's, he was there around 69-71 or so, pretty sure he said A company and maybe HHC 227th and it was with the 1st Cav. |

I love you guys. I've been to all of the reunions. The first and the last are always the best. Though the whole world didn't think much of the viet nam vet, we had each other. The wonder of it all is, we still do. Each and every one of you guys are special. Thanks for being there for me. Time does not necessarily heal all wounds. The world will never appreciate us as we appreciate each other. I cannot thank one of you without thanking you all. I'm so glad you thought enough of your brothers (and me) to come to the reunions.
